To be read as though the Warning had just come . . .

The Warning was a mercy from God. By The Warning we became aware that we are not yet what He wants us to be. We felt the pain of being unlike Him, far from Him. His will is for us to become like Himself, happy in all that He is, and to become close to Him. Sin is the only impediment to that. It prevents us from achieving perfect, even eternal happiness. God unveiled our sinfulness to us in The Warning, not out of revenge, for vengefulness is foreign to His heart, but rather out of love and mercy. He wants us to never have to suffer again the pain we felt in The Warning. His mercy allowed us to sample the pain that sin bequeaths to us. The Warning was truly a mercy from God.

To be read as though the Warning had just come . . .

The Warning was a taste of eternity. Time stopped for a moment during The Warning, and the truth of timeless existence tumbled in on all of us. It was no longer possible, because of The Warning, to hide from ourselves. All we ever did was before our eyes, seen all at once, in a single glance. We knew then how God's gaze crosses all barriers and grasps the uttermost secrets. He shared with us, for our conversion, how He sees us, and we beheld, in an instant mercifully brief, whatever in us was displeasing to Him. What we understood was our eternal state, should we have died at that time. We suffered for a moment the pain of our sin, the pain of separation from God, the pain of purgatory or hell. God let us see it all, in The Warning.

Garabandal People Update

The photos above show Conchita with Dr. Jeronimo Dominquez, a long time Garabandal supporter who has recently died. He was very close to Conchita, and helped her with her work as a nurse, when she first came to the USA. The top photo shows him at her wedding. giving the bride away, as a good father. I remember going to Dr. Jeronimo's house in the Bronx. What was amazing to me at the time was that he was given permission from his bishop to have the Blessed Sacrament in his home in a small chapel. Not unheard of for a lay person, but rare indeed!

I also just found out that the Doctors son was killed on 9/11 in the Twin Towers. Here is the story from a local newspaper:

Jerome Domínguez had gone diving off the coast of Long Island with some police pals who were also his friends outside the job. After exploring the chambers of a shipwrecked boat, they glided up slowly and started popping up, one after another, to take their places on their boat.

But they noticed one of them, another police officer, was missing. And, without much hesitation, Domínguez was the one to jump right back in the water.

Returning all the way to the bottom, Domínguez found his friend lying unconscious inside the dilapidated ship with insufficient oxygen left. Pulling him up, Domínguez swam toward the light of the surface, alternatively taking on and off his oxygen mask to share it with the unconscious man.

Risking his own life, Domínguez saved his pal's more than two years ago.

But it was not the first time, and it would not be the last, that the decorated New York City cop offered all he had for the sake of others. In fact, Domínguez did it regularly, whenever he encountered people in danger or on duty as a member of the department's elite emergency services unit.

Domínguez, a West Islip resident who grew up in the Pelham Bay section of the Bronx, was at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 and, according to reports from colleagues to his family, was making his way upward in the building when the north tower collapsed. He remains missing.

One of two sons of devout Catholic parents who spend much of their time trying to spread the faith, Domínguez, 37, had his own sense of mission.

"I once told him, 'Jerome, don't strain yourself so much'," recalled his mother, Gladys Domínguez of the Bronx. "And he said, 'Look, Mommy, you save souls and I will save bodies.'"

After graduating from Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx, Domínguez entered the police academy in the mid-'80s. Following his July 1985 graduation, he became a patrol officer for a local precinct in the Bronx. Two years later, Domínguez, also in the Air Force Reserve, joined the highway division.

During the following years, he became committed to his job of helping people on the roads. Even when off duty, Domínguez carried power-cutting and other tools in his vehicle to help stalled drivers or to extricate victims at accident scenes, his relatives said.

Once, while heading to Texas for Air Force training in 1999, Domínguez encountered an overturned school bus with several children inside. He quickly took charge and rescued more than a dozen children before the bus burst into flames. His feat earned him praise, and he appeared on a television news show and was mentioned in newspapers that day. The Air Force offered him a permanent job, but he preferred an offer he got from the NYPD to join the emergency unit.

"He enjoyed himself helping people in some way, morally or physically," said his father, Geronimo Domínguez, a physician who hosts a bible reading television program in Spanish. " ... He was very courageous."

Besides diving, Domínguez left time to cruise on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, sometimes along the Eastchester Bay coast near his parents' house, formerly a waterfront home and fishing retreat of New York City Mayor Fiorello La Guardia.

In his last conversation with his father, some days before Sept. 11, Domínguez discussed the idea of a heavenly place for souls to rest in happiness after death. His parents find comfort in their strong belief that Domínguez is already there. "He loved helping others, and there isn't in the Bible or anywhere else a greater love than that, giving your life for others," his father said.
-- Víctor Manuel Ramos (Newsday)

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

I was just thinking that little by little, many of us old Garabandalistas are dying off. I'm 72 and would love to be around for the Warning, Miracle and Great Sign but if God has other plans for me, I'm ready for heaven too!
Christmas Blessings to all+

To be read as though the Warning had just come . . .

The Warning shows us our sins. It was predicted as a "correction of the conscience of the world." The scriptures foretold long ago that Jesus would send the Holy Spirit to "convict the world of sin." If we did not fully understand before what that meant, we do now, by the power of The Warning. Sin, our resistance to becoming the loving kind of person God is, results in many unloving deeds, decisions and attitudes. These were all vividly clear in the brilliant light God shone in our souls. Our consciences were thoroughly illuminated at that moment, exposing all the self-deception we are so clever at, pulling out the dead memories that have never been leavened with love, uncovering the lies we told ourselves, the compromises we made. We saw so blatantly the many harsh, stubborn, and unkind decisions we have made, the times we cruelly trod on the feelings of other people, coveted their possessions, envied their good fortune and rejoiced at their failures. Then we groaned with anguish when God revealed to us the neglect, the
refusal to help, the undone deeds and the unfulfilled plans. We have heard Him say to us, "Why have you persecuted Me?"

To be read as though the Warning had just come . . .

The Warning made us aware of God. Everyone, unbeliever as well as believer, now can declare that God has touched us with His immeasurable power. He has intervened in an unprecedented manner to make all people aware of His existence, His mercy, His sovereign rulership, His love for us and His concern for our salvation. There is a God, and He is good. No one can now any longer deny Him unless he chooses to fling the truth back in God's face. The Warning has made God evident. We have felt His power in our bones.

I just read about this Franciscan Community working in the Caribbean who preach about Garabandal! They would like to set up a Formation Center in Garabandal! Here is their home page to visit:

Franciscans can be Friars (Monks) and Third Order (Laity) members, who vow to follow the Rule of St. Francis of Assisi, and commit themselves to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to the poorest of the poor. Wherever there is a need to share the message of God's love, you will find the Franciscans. They work in education, social justice, and parish ministry throughout the world. In Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, they spread the Gospel by preaching and founding churches. They also run occupational training centers for the poor, and distribute food and other necessities. Although their primary work is in Puerto Rico, the work of the Hermanos Franciscanos extends throughout the Caribbean, and locations in the United States, Africa, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, and Spain.

When you visit our guest house, your donations help us pay for our many kinds of ministry. We are grateful for any financial support which is offered; your alms and prayers are ways that you can join our Franciscan family in our caring for the poor. None of us can change the world by ourself, but working together we can make a great deal of difference.

If you are interested in helping to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of God's family on earth, you will feel right at home among the Franciscan Friars and Third Order members.

To be read as though the Warning had just come . . .

The Warning was like the conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle, who was penetrated by the same light we have recently endured. He was on the Damascus road, journeying to that town to persecute the newly converted Christian Jews who lived there. In a glorious vision it was revealed to him that he was assailing not only the members of the Church, but Jesus Himself, the very Lord of heaven and earth! The blinding light of the Risen Christ convicted him of sin. Paul heeded the warning Jesus had given him; he repented and became his faithful follower, and left his former life behind.

Has not the same enlightenment been accorded to us all in The Warning? The grace once granted to an individual has finally penetrated every human heart in a single, sudden burst of divine light. We have felt the same grace, the same light that Paul did. God would have the whole world respond just as Paul did. We must now repent of the sin the Lord has shown us in ourselves by The Warning, and amend our lives, following Jesus.

To be read as though the Warning had just come . . .

The Warning was predicted by Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Garabandal, where she prophesied three great events that were to come: The Warning, The Miracle, and The Punishment. The last would occur only if the world would still refuse to repent after the first two made God's mind plain to all. We have just experienced the first; the second and the third are still in the future. The Miracle will come within a year of The Warning, so that we will be prepared to receive the grace of The Miracle.

May Jesus, our Saviour,
Who was born on Christmas Day,
Bless you at this season
In a very special way.
May the beauty and the promise
Of that silent, holy night
Fill your heart with peace and happiness
And make your new year bright!"

FROM MARK MALLETT: A MUST READ! Mark again speaks about the "Illumination":

The Value of One Soul

Christ raising Lazarus, Caravaggio

IT was the end of a string of six concerts in several small towns on the Canadian prairies. The turnouts were poor, usually less than fifty people. By the sixth concert, I was beginning to feel sorry for myself. As I began to sing that night several years ago, I looked out at the audience. I could’ve sworn that everyone there was over ninety! I thought to myself, "They probably can’t even hear my music! Moreover, are these really the people you want me to evangelize, Lord? What about the youth? And how am I going to feed my family….?" And on and on the whining went, as all the while I kept playing and smiling at the quiet audience.

Afterward, I was supposed to stay the night in the empty rectory. But I was so upset that I packed everything up and started the five hour drive home through the night. I wasn’t two miles out of town when suddenly I felt the Lord’s presence in the seat beside me. I could "see" Him leaning over and looking squarely at me. He spoke with an intensity that to this very day shakes my soul.

Mark—Don’t underestimate the value of ONE soul.

The words were so powerful, so full of love, so intense that I burst into tears. Because suddenly I remembered… there was one younger lady who came up and spoke to me after the concert. She was visibly moved. I spoke with her and tried to answer her questions, but kept packing my gear, sulking, feeling sorry for myself instead of realizing that the one soul Jesus would have descended to earth to die for alone, was standing before me.

So that I would never forget what He said—what He died for—He repeated those words again, in a love which still leaves me in tears, even as I write this:

Don’t underestimate the value of ONE soul.

I repented, and from that day on began to realize that Jesus was no longer fishing with nets, but with hooks… looking now for one soul here, one soul there, before the coming of the Great Storm.

After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He said to the people standing there:

Untie him and let him go. (John 11:44)

You see, through the Illumination which is coming, Jesus will raise many souls to life. Even now, He is doing so. But you will be needed to untie them and let them go. That is, they will need teaching, the Sacraments, and even deliverance to be totally free (see Exorcism of the Dragon). Whether you are a bishop, priest, religious or layman, Jesus wants you to be ready for the Harvest.

He will never abandon you in this Storm. But He asks you now, with a heart full of sorrow and love, will you help Him find that ONE soul? Will you give Him your Great Yes? Or will you hide your talents? Will you fall asleep in the Garden, or will you remain with Him to watch and pray?

Whether you realize it or not, or whether you believe it or not, the angels and all of Heaven hover above you now, awaiting your answer. For they see the soul whose eternal salvation hangs in the balance, awaiting your "yes"…

You have heard, O Virgin, that you will conceive and bear a son; you have heard that it will not be by man but by the Holy Spirit. The angel awaits an answer; it is time for him to return to God who sent him. We too are waiting, O Lady, for your word of compassion; the sentence of condemnation weighs heavily upon us. Answer quickly, O Virgin. Reply in haste to the angel… Why do you delay, why are you afraid? Believe, give praise, and receive. Let humility be bold, let modesty be confident… See, the desired of all nations is at your door, knocking to enter. If he should pass by because of your delay, in sorrow you would begin to seek him afresh, the One whom your soul loves. Arise, hasten, open. Arise in faith, hasten in devotion, open in praise and thanksgiving.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord, she says, be it done to me according to your word. —St. Bernard, Vol. I, Liturgy of the Hours, pg. 345

May all my readers experience a blessed Christmas and the great love of Jesus for each you. For you too are that ONE soul… From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone of you who has written, supported this apostolate, and sustained me through your prayer. You are always, always, in my heart and prayers.

Map of Spain showing the population densities ...Image via WikipediaTo be read as though the Warning had just come:

A short time ago, abruptly, all on earth felt the intervening of God. To each one of us He unveiled the innermost secrets of our heart. His inexorable light seared our consciences and showed us to ourselves as in a flawless mirror. The truth was vivid in our minds. We saw the awful blight of our sinfulness, the excruciating pain of it, and knew in an instant what our eternity would be because of it. The Lord's mercy scoured away all pretension.
By His merciful intrusion, we knew ourselves --- oh, how we knew ourselves, in His
light. We felt the Warning.

Over twenty years ago, it had been predicted by the Mother of God, who communicated
her message to us through four young girls from the mountain village of Garabandal, Spain, remote and rude, rocky and high among the clouds. The message was plain as well, and not really new in content. For she had been repeating it generation upon generation as she visited one place after another for what is now a span of one hundred and fifty years. Yet at this moment she had spoken it with special urgency. Time was running out. These would be the "last warnings" the world would receive. People would have to change their lives and stop offending God, or else they would suffer the most terrible consequences.

The four children who saw her were informed of great events that would overwhelm the
world. These occurrences were to happen, by God's great mercy, so that the whole world would be converted. They would bring about the conversion of humanity. But unless we heard the message and changed soon, this would happen only after great suffering. She told them of "The Warning", a "correction of the conscience of the world", which all would experience as a kind of disaster in their lives, but none of them would die of it, except perhaps from the shock of it.

She also spoke to them of a "Great Miracle" to be
worked by the Lord at Garabandal so that we all might come to believe, but she would not permit the disclosure of the exact time this would happen (although one of the girls knows the date and must announce it eight days before it happens). Lastly she revealed to them "The Punishment", which would descend upon us "directly from God", if people did not repent in time to avert it.

The Punishment must be avoided. Because the Lord wants to protect us from it, He
gives us The Warning and The Miracle. They are meant to help us respond to the message of Mary so that we can avoid The Punishment entirely. We must understand what to do to be saved, and then we must do it. Our fate hangs in the balance. There will be peace; Our Lady of Fatima has promised that it will inevitably arrive. What we do between now and that "Era of Peace" will determine whether or not The Punishment will first have to be undergone.

But for now, we know that The Warning has pierced our hearts. We have known it with
greater clarity than anything else has ever been known. We must heed it, and look again at the repeated messages and warnings of the Mother of God. Looking again and more deeply is the burden of this book. We will recall and reflect upon what she said over the long years of our forebears, consider the present situation, and open up to her promises.

There is danger, greater danger than humankind has ever faced before, but there is also
hope. She asserted, "There will be peace." "In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph; the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me. Russia will be converted, and an Era of Peace will be given to the world."

This book will attempt to answer many of the questions in your mind since you felt THE
WARNING. What was the Warning? Is a miracle coming too? Why has the whole world been involved in such a powerful, direct way? Is it the end of the world? Read and be instructed. All the material presented has been around for twenty years, but we have not heard it, or been prevented from hearing it. God has broken through the darkness. Read now. It is time.

Blessed Anna Maria Taigi spoke of a great chastisement which would come to the world before which there would be an illumination of the conscience of men by which suddenly everyone would see themselves as God sees them. She indicated that this illumination of conscience would result in the saving of many souls because many would repent as a result of this "Warning" . . . this miracle of "self illumination".

Beatified in 1920 as a model of women and mothers, Anna Maria Taigi was not only a prophetess of our time, but one of the most extraordinary mystics in the history of the Church.

From the time she was 20 years old, until she died at the age of 63, the Beata was accompanied by a mysterious light in which she saw past, present, and furure events . . . some relating to struggles among nations; some relating to individual souls.

Blessed Anna Maria gazed into that light only when she felt an interior impulse . . . a sort of direction from Our Lord and the Holy Spirit . . . to do so. And usually when she looked into the light she was asked to offer some special suffering for a special need in the Church or in an individual.

In that light Anna Maria saw a great chastisement coming upon the world in the future . . . but at the same time a great blessing: The "Warning" which would be an illumination of the consciences of men, just as though suddenly every man was given the same kind of light that accompanied her . . . in which they would see themselves as God sees them.

It is interesting that 300 years before Blessed Anna Maria this same revelation was given to St. Edmund Campion, who went to his death affirming this same prophecy.

One is put in mind of the prophecies of the Old Testament . . . some of which were close to the time of Our Lord, and some of which were hundreds of years before. And no one ever knew with any exactitude when those prophecies would be fulfilled.

But we now have cogent reasons to believe that this prophecy of the warning and the chastisement . . . which we have heard from the lips of various good persons and canonized saints . . . will take place very soon, for we recall that St. John Bosco, an authentic prophet of our time, was told by Our Lady that She would obtain a victory for Christianity before the year 2000 which would be greater even than the victory of Lepanto (which in 1571 was a turning point in the history of the world over seeminly hopeless odds).

* * *
It must be borne in mind that this book is intended to be published generally only after the Warning. For that reason it reads as though the miracle of illumination of conscience had already been experienced by the reader. Even if read before the Warning we believe it will be of deep interest and edification for all who read it.

THE WARNING by Father Philip Bebie, C.P.

(Cum permisso superiorum)

Explanation of This Book

A great struggle between good and evil is going on. Pope Paul VI did not hesitate to call it "apocalyptic."

The ultimate result of this struggle was told to us specifically at Fatima: There will be a triumph of love . . . a triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary . . . "Russia will be converted and an era of peace will be granted to mankind."

Before that triumph we may have a terrible chastisement in which "several nations will be annihilated."

According to Garabandal, Medjugorje, etc., to make it possible for the world to avoid that chastisement the Queen of Peace has obtained for us THE WARNING.

Holy prophets (Saint Edmund Campion, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi) predicted this same warning at the very beginning of the historical religious catastrophies: The Reformation conflicts (Saint Edmund Campion) and the rise of Marxism (Blessed Anna Maria) which have brought our world to its present state of estrangement from God.

At the time of the publication of this book in 1986 Father Bebie (who wrote this in 1981-82) was suffering the final stages of a terminal cancer, which, to the surprise of his doctors and most of all to himself, had not yet taken his life. He had previously entrusted the manuscript to a friend to be published when the warning occurred. During a "goodbye" visit early in 1986 . . . shortly after he had returned from a hospital intensive care unit, it was decided that publication after the warning might be ineffective. It might be too late for people to know the importance of what had just happened to them . . . and to the world!

It will be an act of God . . . an act of His mercy. Whether the world will avoid annihilation of several entire nations will deoend on how each of us reacts to this act of His Mercy.

At a time when the world has lost its sense of sin, we will suddenly see ourselves as God sees us. We will recognize our sins.

IF WE REJECT THIS ACT OF MERCY . . . if we then persist in our sins . . . will we not deserve to see the whole world purged with fire . . . or by whatever purging Divine Justice may elect?

It is possible that many will reject the warning out of ignorance.

That is why it seemed both prudent and advisable to make this book available in advance, entrusting to those who receive it, the responsiblity of communicating with newspapers, television, radio, Church leaders, government officials, in a word, to all who will be able to inform the greatest number of people just what the warning means as soon as it happens.

It may be a year away. It may happen tomorrow. There are many indications that it will come soon.

NOTE: Father Bebie died in 1986, when at the very time this little book (written by him in 1981) was being printed.

Garabandal International Magazine reports this news and said that the previous Archbishop Administrator Carlos stated "the next Bishop will promote further studies to examine in depth the Garabandal events and will send the findings to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in Rome."

In other news:
Construction is under way to widen the road near Casio where there is a bottleneck. Lights will be installed along the road leading up to Garabandal.

I'm posting this Message from Our Lady to Carol Ameche because it is new and contains some information about the "Warning" that was prophecised at Garabandal and which we are all awaiting to come. I believe it will soon be here!
Deacon John

Carol Ameche has been receiving locutions (an inner voice heard in the mind and felt in the heart.) from the Triune God and the Virgin Mary since 1992. She has three earlier books (Queenship Publishing) containing alleged messages from heaven, and presents this one, "FOR MERCY'S SAKE" about times that see the "end of time as we know and live it now" (NOT the end of the world, but) enormous changes in the world, great destruction, great outpourings of the Holy Spirit, attempted world domination by the enemies of freedom and God Himself, a call to the earth that pleads trust in Heavenly promises of protection and God's Divine Will, teachings that guide us through chaos and upheaval on the earth without fear or despair, requests for enormous amounts of prayer for the salvation of the entire world, and a clear picture of life in the new era of peace and purity on a renewed earth. These words are also shared by her in travels all over the world. This call is reflected in locutions being received throughout the world by simple, ordinary people chosen, says our Father God, since before they were born. Present day events attest to words revealed for those who will listen to the call of our Creator to choose life! Carol lives in Scottsdale AZ with her husband, Don. They have five children and eleven grandchildren, and are members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She has been speaking throughout the world for the past fifteen years to share words of knowledge received internally from the Triune God and the Virgin Mother regarding the need to 'change' in the people of God, as all are called to become, in order to reach out to those who come to us after a great gift of God called the Illumination of our minds to the state of our souls ( Also known as the WARNING ) as God Himself sees them. This time period has been full of her answer to encourage all to pray for the salvation of the whole world, and to have hope in a renewed and purified future for the world. Her life, as well as those of several others in the world is dedicated to sharing words of warning of coming disasters that will fulfill Scripture until the Return of Jesus. She is available to speak in your area and only needs a plane ticket and home in which to stay. Her phone # is 480-990-8012, or

External locution through Carol at Ameche Prayer Group, 11/30/2008

My dear ones, be with Me now in prayer for the people in India. I am your Mother. I am their Mother and Mother of the entire world.
My children, you will see many, many terrorist attacks throughout the world now as part of the Father’s plan. He allows it to happen as it fulfills Scripture; and it also allows His plan to go forward. Always, My children, when you see disasters, hear of people going into Eternity because of them, you can rejoice for those reasons. You know, now, how important it is for Scripture to be fulfilled totally. You know how important it is for the Father’s plan to go forward because you have been waiting so long. I tell you, you will see more escalation. You will experience the things you have been waiting for so arduously and so long; and you will rejoice. Although it may be painful, that will not last long; because you are so faithful now. Think about what you will say to people who ask you, “What is going on, what is all of this, what does this mean?” Be sure to emphasize that great disasters are not the end of the world although you know the Warning will look like one, an end of the world; and most certainly it will cause a tremendous change and there will much adjustment afterwards, because you will be living in a new way. Pray for everyone and their ability to adjust to change, to adjust to walking away: many people will be unable to leave their possessions, not realizing they are the ones who are owned by these things.
More prayer than ever has been called for, I repeat that again today. You can find time for more prayer. When you see these things, you will wish you had prayed more. Again, do not worry. Do not fear. You and your loved ones will be reunited through many of these events as Jesus has promised; and you will serve together the very needy people who come, and need your prayers they d, more than ever. The sight of destruction will open hearts, will open minds; and this will be your opportunity to answer questions.
Do not fear, My children. Remember, there is nothing you will be unable to do for their needs. It will be a short period of time that they are with you. The Father has waited as long as He can; and so things will move quickly and yet the great feast of the birth of My Son must be allowed to occur in the life of each one of you, of each person who believes throughout the world, without interruption. So many, many graces will be poured out on that feast, so important to the lives of the rest of the world.
Rejoice with Me, My children. You will begin to feel My presence more once again to give you strength, to give you hope, to help you keep on keeping on. Be sure to remind people that I am their Mother. They are My little ones, and they are loved by myself, by their Triune God more than words can deeply explain; but the words we have are enough.

I love you. I am so happy to see you all gathered once again and health returning to those who have suffered. I am so happy to hear the sincerity in your voice, the love in your voice, the beauty on your faces. I am with you. I am with you every second. When something makes you sad or hurts you, be aware of that. Practice that now. From now on, you need Me more than ever. My children, I am so grateful to you. Thank you for your love, your gratitude, your fidelity. Yes, My dear ones, all is well. Do not, I tell you, be afraid. Amen, Amen, Amen. Amen."
