Garabandal cannot be reduced to simple "events of the past"; it remains mysteriously contemporary as we await the fulfillment of the "Warning", "Miracle", & "Great Sign."

Garabandal Mystical Communions
When a priest was not in the village, the visionaries knelt to receive Mystical Communions on their tongues during apparitions of St. Michael.
