The Continuation of Fatima at San Sebastian de Garabandal

My first exposure to the 1917 events of Fatima came in 1947 from the mouth of a Dominican nun who had been my first and second grade teacher at St. Mary’s School in Rome, Georgia. (Classes of both grades were taught in tandem in the same room.)

I remember being very impressed by the story she told us about the three children of Fatima and about Our Lady’s appearances to them.  I remember quite well how the “government man” took the children away and threatened to boil them alive in oil if they didn’t tell him the secret that the “Beautiful Lady” had told them.

I remember not understanding what “government” meant but that it must be something bad.  Today, in 2009, it seems that what I thought “government” meant to me as a young child is proving very true today, and I do not say this in jest. 

On July 13, 1917, our Sweet and Beautiful Heavenly Mother showed the three, innocent, uneducated, children (ages 10, 9, and 7) a most terrifying Vision of Hell.  They would have died of fright had they not seen the Mother of God at the same time. 

My Dominican teacher told us about the Miracle of the Sun on October 13, 1917, and that there were secrets told by our Lady to the children.  I learned that there was to be another very important secret (the Third Secret) to be revealed by the pope in 1960.

I remember waiting for 1960 to find out what this very important secret might be, and was very disappointed when it was not revealed.

In recent years I have read an abundance of material on the sad history of that Third Secret and the request from Heaven to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Humanity will have much suffering yet to come, because of insufficient response to the requests from both Our Lady and Our Lord.

The Third Secret was not revealed by the pope in 1960. That same year probably the most horrible and destructive device ever made by man was approved by the Government in Washington, D.C, and then marketed to the public.  This device, seemingly invented in Hell, would have the most disastrous consequences in all of human history—far greater consequences than the Atomic and Hydrogen Bombs made by man in the 1940’s and 1950’s.  It would lead to an unprecedented and momentous upheaval in the beautiful, Divine Order established by the Wisdom of God for the Human Race, in the Garden of Eden.

This diabolical invention of man, approved by the Government, was none other than the tiny, little Birth Control Pill!!!  On the dreadful day of Judgment the immense evil of this tiny, little pill will very likely be made known by God to all humanity, if not before.

Our Lady knew the magnitude of the evil consequences of the “Pill” as well as that of the nuclear arms race.  But the “Pill” would be far more dangerous, not only due to the temporal consequences of great societal disorders of every imaginable type, especially the logical follow-up of 100s of millions of aborted babies, but of the eternal consequences for those who approved of or used the “Pill,” or other evil forms of artificial birth control.

But also in 1960, even worse than the material “Pill,” was the spiritual apostasy developing within the Church.  Though seething beneath the surface, it was well known to God and Our Lady; and it was well known to Sr. Lucia of Fatima, who spoke about it and about a coming punishment from God to a number of good Priests who were permitted to interview her.

This growing apostasy was soon to be more and more overt and, destroying the Faith, made it all the more easy for a tidal wave of immorality to inundate the entire world.

Our Lady of Fatima had predicted the evils of Communism, the loss of Faith, the annihilation of nations, and She added that in the end the pope will consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart, that Russia will be converted and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world.

Back to October 13, 1917 in Fatima:  An unprecedented “Sign in the Sky” took place there with the “Miracle of the Sun” which Our Lady had promised.  Then, after the “Miracle of the Sun,” the three children were shown a series of heavenly scenes. In the last scene, Our Lady appeared dressed as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with the Baby Jesus in her arms. She waved to the three children of Fatima saying, “Good-bye until San Sebastian, Spain”! 

Forty-four years later, one year after the Third Secret of Fatima was not made public and the U.S. Government had approved the “Pill” that would ruin society and send so many souls to perdition, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, holding the Baby Jesus in her arms, APPEARED IN SAN SEBASTIAN, SPAIN! —just as She said she would.  (She is always true to her word.)

But the San Sebastian, Spain, that She chose was not the big city on the coast of the Gulf of Biscay, near the border with France, but the tiny village of San Sebastian de Garabandal, where She would appear 2000 times to four, young girls, ages 11 to 12.

The Events of Garabandal rank very high among the greatest dramas between Heaven and earth in the history of the world. This Divine Drama included many joyful and happy episodes as well as some very sorrowful, and even frightening ones.  Among the so many events that happened there, I will list some, which should be taken very seriously.

1. The Formal Message of October 18, 1961.
2. The Two Nights of the Screams on June 19 and 20, 1962.
3. The Formal Message of June 18, 1965.

The Formal Message of October 18, 1961

We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently.  But first, we must lead good lives. If we do not, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us. 

The First Night of the Screams

At 10:30 PM on June 19,1962, Mari Loli and Jacinta began to scream due to what they saw.  They screamed for 50 minutes.  People, who were crowded together nearby, thought that the world was about to come to an end. One brave man from the village, who was used to walking the mountains at night, said that his knees began to shake.
As She did when showing the children of Fatima a vision of Hell, Our Lady was present and visible to the young girls of Garabandal as She showed them terrifying scenes of future events. The people who heard those screams made very sincere Confessions the next morning and received Holy Communion.

This is what the girls related about that first Night of the Screams:

In spite of Seeing the Virgin, we began to see a great multitude of people who were suffering intensely, and screaming with tremendous fear . . .

The Most Holy Virgin explained to us that this great tribulation—which was not the Chastisement—would come because a time would arrive when the Church would give the impression of being on the point of perishing ... It would pass through a terrible test. We asked the Virgin what this great test was called, and She told us that it was Communism.

Note: Serious literature on this subject reveals that Our Lady made known to the children that one day—suddenly and unexpectedly—there would be a great Tribulation from Communism, led by Russia, that will overrun a large part of the earth and gain dominion over the whole world.  The Church will seem to disappear. Priests will go into hiding…

Apparently many Priests will be martyred. The Sacraments will be very difficult to receive.  

When visiting Padre Pio in 1966, he told Conchita that the Great Miracle of Garabandal [to come] will be paid for by the blood of the Europeans—oceans of blood.

Note: Some persons think that the Tribulation of Communism is simply a matter of political communism and socialism gaining hold throughout the world.  That idea is not consistent with what the girls have said or the fact of their bloodcurdling screams.

The Second Night of the Screams

First, let me point out that Mari Loli and Jacinta were also shown aspects of the Great Chastisement that will come directly from God on the First Night of the Screams.  But they seemed to see a lot more the following night during the Second Night of the Screams, when they screamed for three hours!

The following day, at 10:30 at night on June 20, 1962, Conchita, Mari Loli and Jacinta, all 13 years of age, followed Our Lady’s instructions and were shown the Great Chastisement that will come some day after the Great Miracle, if people return to their Godless ways.  Again, Our Lady was present and visible as She showed them the Chastisement of heat and Fire that God Himself will send directly upon the earth.

Since there seems to be some confusion about what Our Lady said on each of the nights of screams, I will include here two messages the children reported of what Our Lady made known to them about the Chastisement during those two nights:

#1 - The Virgin told us:

We do not expect the Chastisement. Without expecting it, it will come since the world has not changed.  She has already told us twice, and we do not pay attention to Her. The world is getting worse, and it should change very much, but it has not changed at all. Prepare yourselves. Confess, because the Chastisement will come soon. And the world continues the same... I tell you this: That the world continues the same. How unfortunate that it does not change! Soon will come a very great Chastisement, if it does not change.

#2 - The Virgin has told us:

The world continues the same; it has not changed at all. Few will see God; so few there are that it is causing the Virgin great sorrow.How unfortunate that the world does not change! The Virgin has told us that the Chastisement is coming. As the world is not changing, the cup is filling up. How sorrowful is the Virgin, although She does not allow us to see it.  Since the Virgin loves us so much, She suffers alone, since She is so good.  Everyone be good, so that the Virgin will be happy!  She has told us that those who are good should pray for those who are evil. Yes, we should pray to God for the world, for those who do not know Him. Be good. Be very good.

The Formal Message of June 18, 1965

Note:  This message was so heartrending to Our Lady that she asked St. Michael the Archangel to deliver it for Her. (Probably because of what the message said about many Cardinals, Bishops and Priests)

The Message:  As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one. Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask for His forgiveness with sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your mother, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask you to amend your lives. You are now receiving the last warnings. I love you very much and do not want your condemnation. Pray to us with sincerity and we will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the passion of Jesus.

So, we can see from this Second Formal Message, which Our Lady’s tender Heart couldn’t bear to tell—asking St. Michael to tell it for Her—that there was very serious trouble in the Church established by her Divine Son.  She also warns everyone to turn back to God, ask his forgiveness with sincere hearts, to pray sincerely, make sacrifices and think about the Passion of Jesus.  And She asked, over and over, prayer for Priests.

Comment

I realize that a lot of what has been written above was included in my report of 1997, titled: “Significant Points of the Great Drama of Garabandal,” which contains even more information.  Perhaps I will attach that report to this one.  Then those who receive this one will have both reports. [To be published tomorrow, ed.]


I didn’t mention here the Warning, predicted at Garabandal, which corrects the conscience of the world and STOPS THE COMMUNIST TRIBULATION, but that is spoken of in the other report to attached at the end of this one.

I would like to close this current report, summarizing some of the things that demonstrate that Garabandal is The True Continuation of Fatima.

1. Our Lady’s “Good-bye” to the children of Fatima.  Dressed as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with the Baby Jesus in her arms, She said, “Good-bye until San Sebastian, Spain.”

2. Our Lady at Fatima did not refrain from showing innocent young children a terrifying vision of Hell, where the damned souls were seen screaming as they were being tossed about in the flames of eternal fire.  At Garbandal, Our Lady did not refrain from showing the innocent, young girls the terrifying, bloody Tribulation of

Communism to come, or the flames of the flesh-consuming Fire of the Great Chas-tisement to come if people resume Godless lives after the Miracle of Garabandal.

3. At Fatima, Our Lady said that in the end the pope will consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart and that Russia will be converted.  At Garabandal Our Lord told Conchita in a locution that as a result of the Miracle of Garabandal, Russia would be converted. 

Thus it seems that at some point the pope will finally consecrate Russia, by name, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and do so with the Bishops.  One of the Fatima experts says that the conversion of Russia means conversion to the Catholic Church.  Garabandal predictions also indicate the same thing.

Note:  An exhaustive amount of research has been done by honorable persons in various places, and they have well demonstrated that the proper and necessary consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has not yet been done.  If someone disagrees, don’t worry.  Just love one another.

      5.   Bishop Venancio of Leiria, Portugal, who handled the Third Secret of Fatima when it

was given to the papal legate to take to Rome in 1957, said unequivocally that Garabandal is the continuation of Fatima.

Note: I know that both popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI have said that Medjugorje is the continuation of Fatima. I think that both popes would affirm the evidence for Garabandal, however.

6. In both Fatima and Garabandal, Our Lady warned about Russia and Communism. 

At Fatima, She spoke about Russia and Communism and all the evils that would ensue.  She gave a remedy for preventing that awful evil, but the remedy failed to be  administered sufficiently or properly.  At Garabandal, She spoke many times about Communism, that it would come back, that it would be led by Russia and cause a very great Tribulation.  She did not talk about Islamic Jihadism.

PS:  There has been a considerable amount of news in recent weeks about warm relations between Moscow and the Vatican in both the religious and secular realms.  This is an indication that it may not be all that long before the pope goes to Moscow.  Only God knows that future date.
